What’s The Difference Between A PHP And An IOP?
PHP and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are very similar. Both have group-based services that prepare you for life after addiction. Both will hold you accountable to commitments on a regular basis.IOP allows you to live at home, but you still need to attend occasional meetings. This program allows more time for life outside of treatment, making it ideal for working parents.
PHP gives you the same freedom and support options, but you will need to dedicate more time at the facility, typically 3-5 days a week. You’re placed in a PHP or an IOP based on where you are in your recovery journey. For more information, call or email us anytime.

Is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) the Right Choice for You?
A PHP requires less supervision than residential living, but you still have access to a medical professional and counseling services. Essentially, you’re in rehab for part of the day. If you’ve made some progress in recovery, and feel ready to take back your independence, a PHP may be a good option for you. But be ready to put in a lot of work.

What to Expect with
PHP at Brooks
At Brooks Healing Center, we’ll create an individualized approach to your recovery. The program will have a schedule much like a school day or a work shift.
You will follow a routine in order to develop healthy habits, essential life skills, and coping strategies. Then you get to go home in the evening and apply what you’ve learned to your everyday life. Depending on your treatment plan, you may attend therapy sessions or our 12-Step Program at our recovery center located in rural Tennessee.
