Brooks Healing Center provides addiction treatment for adults from Manchester and communities throughout Coffee County. Our Normandy campus operates medical detox, residential treatment, and clinical Partial Hospitalization Program services in a private countryside setting. Brooks’ PHP housing and sober living are located in Tullahoma, creating a practical path from intensive treatment into greater independence.
You do not have to wait until substance use causes another emergency, job loss, arrest, hospitalization, or family crisis. A confidential call can help you understand what level of support is appropriate now.

For Manchester residents, Brooks offers something more connected than a single short-term service. A patient who needs medical stabilization can begin in detox at Normandy, continue into residential treatment at the same campus, step down into PHP, and use Brooks’ Tullahoma housing when additional structure is needed outside clinical hours.
That continuity helps reduce the gaps where people are often most vulnerable. Instead of finishing one program and being handed a list of phone numbers, the next phase can be considered throughout treatment and adjusted as the patient’s needs change.
Brooks serves adults from Manchester, Hillsboro, Beechgrove, Summitville, Morrison, Tullahoma, and surrounding Coffee County communities.

We provide a safe, comfortable detox environment where you can regain your baseline health while a team of medically trained professionals takes care of you.
With residential recovery, you can submerge yourself in a structured, supervised, and supportive environment to heal your mind and body.
With partial hospitalization, you can receive structured daytime treatment, therapy, and clinical support while building independence and applying recovery skills outside of treatment hours.
With sober living, you can continue building stability in a structured, substance-free home with peer accountability, daily routines, and support as you transition toward greater independence.
Stopping alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or multiple substances can require medical support. Even when withdrawal is not life-threatening, intense symptoms and cravings can quickly derail an attempt to stop at home.
At the Normandy campus, Brooks provides medical detox in a setting designed to support both safety and engagement. The team monitors symptoms, reviews medical and psychiatric needs, and begins planning for the treatment that should follow stabilization.
When residential care is recommended, the patient can continue at Normandy rather than leaving detox and attempting to arrange the next program alone.
Residential treatment creates a temporary break from the daily conditions that have allowed addiction to continue. Patients live on campus and participate in an individualized treatment schedule rather than trying to attend therapy while still surrounded by active triggers, access to substances, or unstable relationships.
Treatment may include individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, experiential activities, recovery education, family work, relapse-prevention planning, and support for co-occurring mental health symptoms.
The Normandy environment gives people from Manchester enough separation to focus while keeping them within Middle Tennessee and reasonably connected to family and long-term recovery resources.
Brooks’ Partial Hospitalization Program is operated at the Normandy campus. PHP is an intensive daytime level of care for people who no longer need 24-hour residential treatment but still need more structure than weekly outpatient appointments.
Eligible PHP participants may stay in Brooks’ PHP housing in Tullahoma. The housing provides a stable recovery environment outside program hours, while the clinical services remain at Normandy.
When a person is ready for more independence, Brooks sober living in Tullahoma can support the transition into work, community meetings, household responsibilities, healthier relationships, and long-term housing.
Two people using the same substance may need very different care. One may be at risk for dangerous withdrawal. Another may be medically stable but repeatedly relapsing because of trauma, depression, anxiety, or an unsafe home. Another may have completed residential treatment before but returned home without enough support.
Brooks evaluates the whole situation, including:
– Substances used, amount, frequency, and route of use
– Withdrawal and overdose history
– Physical health and current medications
– Depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, or other mental health symptoms
– Previous treatment and relapse patterns
– Family, housing, legal, and employment concerns
– Readiness and ability to participate in the recommended level of care
That assessment determines where treatment should begin and what needs to be in place before discharge.
Brooks treats adults experiencing problems with alcohol, fentanyl, heroin, prescription opioids, benzodiazepines, cocaine, crack, methamphetamine, prescription stimulants, kratom, 7-OH products, marijuana, and polysubstance use.
Care may also address co-occurring depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, bipolar disorder, grief, shame, and emotional dysregulation. Brooks is primarily an addiction treatment provider, and admission depends on whether the person’s medical and psychiatric needs can be safely managed within the program.
