Recovery becomes real when the skills learned in treatment have to work outside the therapy room. Brooks Healing Center provides PHP housing and sober living in Tullahoma for adults who need a stable, substance-free place to continue building independence, accountability, and a recovery-centered life.
Brooks’ clinical Partial Hospitalization Program is operated at our Normandy campus. The Tullahoma location provides the supportive housing connected to PHP as well as sober living for people who are ready for greater independence after intensive treatment.

The Tullahoma location has a distinct role within Brooks Healing Center. It is not the medical detox or residential treatment campus, and it should not be described as the location where clinical PHP services are delivered.
Medical detox, residential treatment, and PHP clinical programming take place at the Brooks campus in Normandy. Tullahoma is where eligible participants may live while attending PHP and where individuals may continue in sober living as they move toward greater independence.
Keeping that distinction clear helps patients and families understand what kind of support is available at each location and prevents housing from being confused with a clinical level of care.

We provide a safe, comfortable detox environment where you can regain your baseline health while a team of medically trained professionals takes care of you.
With residential recovery, you can submerge yourself in a structured, supervised, and supportive environment to heal your mind and body.
With partial hospitalization, you can receive structured daytime treatment, therapy, and clinical support while building independence and applying recovery skills outside of treatment hours.
With sober living, you can continue building stability in a structured, substance-free home with peer accountability, daily routines, and support as you transition toward greater independence.
A Partial Hospitalization Program provides intensive treatment during the day without requiring a patient to remain in a residential clinical setting around the clock. That flexibility is valuable, but it only works when the person has a safe and stable place to stay outside program hours.
Brooks’ PHP housing in Tullahoma gives eligible patients a recovery-oriented environment while they attend clinical PHP programming in Normandy. Housing can help reduce exposure to substances, unstable relationships, immediate triggers, and the isolation that can make early recovery more difficult.
A typical PHP plan may include individual therapy, group therapy, mental health support, recovery education, relapse-prevention work, medication management, life-skills development, and continuing-care planning. The exact schedule and housing expectations are explained during admissions and orientation.
Sober living is designed for people who no longer need the intensity of residential treatment or PHP housing but still benefit from structure, peer accountability, and a drug- and alcohol-free place to live.
This stage is where recovery begins to include ordinary responsibilities again. Residents may return to work, look for employment, attend recovery meetings, rebuild family relationships, manage appointments, and practice healthy routines while remaining connected to a community that expects sobriety and personal responsibility.
Sober living is not simply a room. Its value comes from the environment: clear expectations, shared commitment, accountability, and the opportunity to build a stable life before returning to fully independent housing.
Both forms of housing support recovery, but they are intended for different stages.
PHP housing is connected to active participation in Brooks’ Partial Hospitalization Program. The resident’s week is still organized around intensive clinical care at the Normandy campus.
Sober living generally offers more day-to-day independence. Residents are expected to manage more of their own schedule while maintaining sobriety, following house expectations, participating in recovery support, and progressing toward stable work, relationships, and housing.
Placement is based on clinical progress, recovery needs, safety, availability, and the treatment team’s recommendations. A person does not have to decide which option is appropriate before calling.
Tullahoma provides access to ordinary community life without placing residents directly back into the same home environment that may have contributed to relapse. It gives people the chance to practice recovery in a real-world setting while remaining connected to Brooks’ broader continuum of support.
For people from Tullahoma, Manchester, Winchester, Decherd, Estill Springs, Lynchburg, Hillsboro, and communities across Coffee and Franklin counties, the location can make continuing care more practical while preserving the structure needed in early recovery.
The address of the Tullahoma housing location is not published for resident privacy and safety. Admissions can explain arrival procedures, eligibility, expectations, costs, and how housing fits with the recommended treatment plan.

No. Brooks does not publish the Tullahoma housing address in order to protect resident privacy and safety. Approved residents receive arrival information directly.
PHP housing supports people who are actively enrolled in intensive daytime PHP services. Sober living is generally a later, more independent stage that provides a substance-free home, peer accountability, and structure while residents return to work, meetings, family responsibilities, and community life.
Eligibility depends on current sobriety, clinical stability, treatment history, housing needs, and the ability to follow program expectations. Admissions can determine whether Brooks sober living is appropriate or whether a higher level of care should come first.
